CYBER NEON

CyberNeon City is filled with holograms, which are enormously large and occupy all empty spaces of the city. The entire city seems to be alive and always in movement. The collection has taken an imaginary journey to the possible visionary scenario of a world where it has evolved to adapt - to the fiction- al space, though weaving in between, the pattern became a hybrid between the physical and digital world.

. By using overshot threading which is unique to the pattern and directly related to the treadling of the warp ends. The large blocks of color created by floats of the patterning weft are stabilized by a tabby weft, a much thinner warp end that is woven in a plain weave after every patterning weft pick. The scale of pattern blocks are gradually changing with faded color gradient, almost like the characters swimming in the digital waves.
